Missouri Baptist University will be hosting a free tennis camp for all interested men’s and women’s tennis players. Women's Track Wins NAIA Outdoor National Title (May 28, 2006)
FRESNO, Calif. - Led by sophomore Nickesha Anderson, Missouri Baptist used a sweep of the sprints to literally run away and win the 26th Annual NAIA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship Meet at Fresno Pacific University. The Spartans scored 126 points to claim their first-ever outdoor championship and in the process become the sixth school to sweep the NAIA women's indoor and outdoor titles in the same season. Azusa Pacific (CA) finished second with 79 points, followed by Simon Fraser (B.C.) in third with 74 and Oklahoma Baptist in fourth with 66. Florida Memorial rounded out the top five…

Women's Track Does it Again (May 27, 2006)
The MBU Women's Track Team has won their second NAIA National Title in the same year. The Lady Spartans did so by winning the 2006 NAIA Outdoor National Championship. MBU also claimed the 2006 Indoor title as well. This is the second National Championship for Missouri Baptist University Athletics. Men's Golf Places 14th at 2006 NAIA National Tourney (May 22, 2006)
The Spartans finished 14th at the 2006 NAIA National Men’s Golf Tournament hosted by Prairie Highlands Golf Club in Olathe, Kansas. MBU finished with a team score of 1209, tied with CSU-San Marcos for 14th and one point behind Flagler College in 13th. Oklahoma City University claimed its fifth national title in six years. MBU's Chris Naegel was named NAIA All-American and MBU's Danny Manselle was named to the NAIA All-American Honorable Mention team. Baseball Earns Three on All Region Team (May 17, 2006)
The Spartans had three players named to the 2006 All Region Team. Brad Arnett, an infield junior from St. Louis, Mo., Pedro Perez, a senior outfielder from Vieques, Puerto Rico, and Scott Thomas, a sophomore catcher from Town & Country, Mo. rounded up the 17 members of the region V first team. The Spartans garnered an invitation to the region V tournament by winning two post season AMC games, once against Harris Stowe State University and once against William Woods University. Baseball Opens Region V Tourney with a Win (May 11, 2006)
The Spartans opened up the 2006 Region V Tournament Wednesday with a 4-2 victory over Benedictine College. The Spartans garnered an invitation to the Region V Tournament by winning two games in the American Midwest Conference Post Season Tournament. E.J. Basta recorded the victory against Benedictine when he threw seven and two thirds scoreless innings. Basta has thrown 25 and two thirds consecutive scoreless innings after Wednesday's performance and his Spartans are currently 38-17 on the season. Baseball Wins Two, Advances to Region V Tourney (May 1, 2006)
The Spartans lost 8-3 to William Woods University in the first round of the 2006 American Midwest Conference Baseball Tournament, which was held at Hypes Field on the campus of McKendree College (IL). MBU defeated Harris Stowe State University 4-0 in round two of tourney play and came back in game three of AMC tourney action by besting William Woods 8-7. By winning two games the Spartans automatically advance to the Region V Tournament. The Spartans fell in the AMC Championship game to host McKendree College 9-4.
