Men's Volleyball, Hickerson, Named National Player of the Week

Bryce Hickerson of the Missouri Baptist University men’s volleyball team has been named the NAIA/Tachikara National Player of the Week. Hickerson is a senior outside hitter from Aurora, IL. MBU went 5-0 for the week and Hickerson has helped his team to an overall record of 6-1. He had 77 kills, .504 hitting percentage, 4 aces, 8 blocks, and 32 digs on the week. Bryce is the captain of the team and serves as the President of the Fellowship of Christian Athlete’s on the Missouri Baptist University campus. MBU is currently ranked third in the NAIA/Tachikara National Polls released on February 6, 2006. The Spartans will be in action again when they travel to Moody Bible College in Chicago on February 10th.
