Baseball Opens the Season With Two Wins

The Boys of Summer opened up the 2006 campaign with two convincing victories over Concordia University (NB) 11-3 and 11-1 respectively. MBU opens the season up 2-0 while Concordia falls to 0-5.

The winning pitcher in game one for the Spartans was David Federico. In game two, Matt Boyer got the call and the win for MBU. MBU will host Concordia in a double header again today with the first pitch of game one coming at 11 am. The game one starter for the Spartans is Scott Eddington, while Brian Edwards will get the start for MBU in the night cap.
