Volleyball Splits in Weeeknd Tourney

The MBU Men's Volleyball team went 1-1 on the weekend in Quincy IL. In an exciting four game match, Missouri Baptist was defeated by California Baptist University 29-31, 24-30, 30-27, 22-30. Against California Baptist, MBU was led by Bryce Hickerson with 19 kills and Phil Goedeker with 15. Mike Walsh finished with 12 digs and Matt Washechek gave out 52 assists.

In match two, Missouri Baptist defeated NCAA Division II Quincy University in three games, 30-22, 30-25, 30-24. MBU was led in kills by Bryce Hickerson, Phil Goedeker and Joel May with 13, 11 and 10 kills respectively. Matt Washechek had 45 assists while Ryan Young had 16 digs.
