Wrestling Places Ninth at Simpson Invite

The Missouri Baptist University Wrestling Team traveled to Simpson College (IA) to compete in the Simpson College Invitational. MBU's JT Taylor placed first in the 141 weight class. MBU's John Wilcox placed fourth in the 174lbs class. MBU's Cody Rouse placed sixth in the 157 weight class and Jared Bonnell placed fifth in the heavyweight division. MBU's John Wilcox received the award for most pins in the least amount of time. JT Taylor had the quickest pin of the meet with a pin in 15 seconds in the final match.

As a team, the Spartans placed ninth out of 14 teams. They will be in action again on December 7th when they host Central Missouri State University at 7:00 PM.
