Women's Basketball Defeats Maryville

The Lady Spartans improve to 7-1 on the season with a 64-54 victory over NCAA D-III Maryville University.

MBU was led by LaTrice McMichel, who had 21 points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Angela Cerrito followed with 16 points. Three other Lady Spartans chipped in with eight points each. Maryville was led by Carrie Snyder's 17 points. MBU shot 83% from the foul line and outrebounded the Lady Saints by nine. MBU's Megan Brown grabbed 13 caroms.

MBU will travel to Fontbonne University on November 29th.
