Two From Cross Country Team Compete at Nationals
Denis-Bull Olinga and Vincent Morogah represented MBU Saturday in Louisville, Kentucky, at the 50th NAIA National Cross Country Championships. Over 261 of the nations finest distance runners lined up to compete on the sunny but, cool morning. Racing in the top 15 throughout the race, MBU's Denis-Bull Olinga was able to sprint home in a time of 25:02, which was good enough for 13th place overall. Olinga's race earned him All-American status for the second year in a row. Morogah was in contention for All-American status throughout the race finishing 38th with a time of 25:28. Olinga and Morogah capped off a strong season for the MBU Cross Country program that saw both a men's and women's conference championship to go along with Olinga's All-American award.
