Women's Volleyball Ranked Number One in Region Play Eleventh Overall

The Lady Spartans now boast of being the number one ranked team in the latest Region V rankings with a 7-2 record. MBU claimed the top spot after three convincing victories over the weekend, including a three game win over NAIA number four Columbia College. Columbia is number two in the Regional rankings with a record of 8-1 followed by Lindenwood University at number three with a record of 9-4.

MBU, who is ranked 11th in the NAIA National polls, will open up American Midwest Conference play at Hannibal LaGrange College this Friday.
