Baseball To Host Summer Camps (June 29, 2005)
LOCATION: The MBU Baseball Camp will be held at the baseball field on the campus of Missouri Baptist University. DATE: From July 25 to July 29, 2005. TIMES: From 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with a one hour break for lunch. Camp will conclude at 12:00 pm on Friday July 29, 2005. MBU Athletes Lead Field at 2005 Race for the Cure (June 18, 2005)
Several volunteers from the Missouri Baptist University Athletic Department entered in the 2005 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure held in downtown St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, June 18. More than 62,000 people registered for the race and of all the participants, the first man to cross the finish line was Missouri Baptist University's Vincent Morogah. Morogah was running on Missouri Baptist's Team Sharon. It's in honor of his friend's mother who is a breast cancer survivor that he entered the race. It took Morogah 16:02 to run 5K.
