Deno Merrick - Staff Profile
Assistant Men's Soccer Coach
Deno is entering his First year as Head Coach for both the Men’s and Women’s Soccer Program at Missouri Baptist University. He played his senior year at Missouri Baptist and he also plays for his national team of Antigua. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Business Administration. Deno is in his second year of the Masters Degree in Sports Management at Missouri Baptist University and has matured in his coaching ability and management skills. Deno is very excited to continue his studies at MBU and is looking forward to working with both programs and maintaining their success.
Deno was one of the most influential players on the MBU team during his senior season. He was chosen as an All-Conference player and honorable mention All-Regiona. Deno also participated in the United Soccer League (USL) for the local St. Louis Lions Premier Development League in their second season. Deno helped the Lions reach the play-off for the first time in the team’s history and also helped them to another winning season with a record of 10-6-0.
