A Great Evening

I'm sorry if you missed our MBU Alumni Night at the Saint Louis Symphomny Orchestra on Friday, May 9. We had a wonderful evening of fellowship and great music. It was great to catch up with some of you that I hadn't seen in years, as well as meeting some of your spouses and parents. Orff's Carmina Burana was magnificent, featuring the Saint Louis Symphony Chorus (including MBU professors Ladd Faszold and Jeffrey Heyl) and the Saint Louis Children's Chorus, but my personal favorite was Rainbow Body, by Christopher Theofanidis.

This evening made me think about all the possibilities that I do not take advantage of that St. Louis has to offer. I know that several of those in attendance shared my feelings on the incredible events and activities that are available that we allow to pass us by. The MBU Alumni Association hopes to begin hosting more events just like this one to bring us together as we celebrate all that makes St. Louis such a great place to live and work. I hope that you will find time to join us in our adventures and welcome any ideas that you may have on an event that you would enjoy being a part of.

It is my pleasure to serve you.

Rob Cornwell
