Learning For Life 5K Run/Walk
Hey, I just wanted to mention an exciting new event to be held in conjunction with Homecoming this year. It's the Learning For Life 5K Run/Walk. This is a major undertaking for good old MoBap. We are really trying to upgrade Homecoming, do something community oriented, and support a good cause. All proceeds from this event will go to KidSmart - Tools for Learning, an organization that has distributed nearly $5 million in school supplies to over 40,000 children all across the St. Louis metro area.
The race will be run on Saturday, November 10 at 8AM. You do not have to be a runner to compete, many people are planning to come out and walk the course in support of this incredible event. The cost is only $15 (if you register by October 25) and you will receive a nice long-sleeve t-shirt as part of the entry fee. The race is being sponsored by the MBU Graduate Admissions Office, Wood-You - Real Wood Furniture for Less!, RMR Marketing, The Journey Church, and Royal Banks of Missouri. This event is also being run in full conjunction with the communities of Creve Coeur and Town and Country.
Please come out and support this event as Missouri Baptist University continues to be a leader in service to the community.
