MBU
students are active in all parts of college life…including intercollegiate
athletics. Nearly half of our on-campus students, both men and women,
are on various varsity teams. Our athlete teams compete against nationally-ranked
opponents; and several have had continued success in post-season play,
with regional and national rankings.
As proud members of the NAIA’s American Midwest Conference,
the MBU Spartans recently have taken Conference titles in Soccer,
Baseball, and Women’s Volleyball, and our players are regularly
named to Conference All-Star and Academic All-Star teams. MBU’s
baseball players 
consistently
rank in the top 10 in the Conference in batting averages, RBIs, home
runs, stolen bases, and runs scored. Many MBU baseball players have
gone on to sign professional contracts with the Cubs,
the Phillies, and the Tigers.
So if you’re an enthusiastic sports spectator, there won’t be a lack of opportunities to cheer on your favorite MBU team. But if you’d rather compete, prepare yourself for some of the best times of your life. We think you’ll find that it’s hard to resist the exciting (and contagious!) team spirit at MBU!
