Why did you choose MBU?
I chose MBU because of the great scholarships that MBU offered me, how close it still is to my family, and the atmosphere at MBU. I like the smaller campus atmosphere.
What has been your favorite event at MBU?
My favorite event has been the Lake of the Ozarks trip this year! It was a weekend long trip to the lake for a really cheap price!! We all stayed at Tan-Tar-A resort. It was AMAZING!!
What defines you?
I think that my personality defines me. I'm a strong leader and tend to be the "queen bee" with my group of friends. I'm always the loud and crazy one that has a few "blonde moments" in between.
How does caffeine interrelate with your life?
Caffeine is pretty much in my everyday life. I'm not a fan of soda but coffee is one of my best friends.
Favorite spot in St. Louis?
My favorite spot in St. Louis is Des Peres Park off Ballas. Forest Park is also one of my favorites.
How has MBU allowed you to experience your faith?
Well, I've gone to private school almost my entire life, but MBU was different with approaching each individual's faith. They don't force you to further your relationships with God or look down on you for not being "right" in your faith. MBU has allowed me to experience God on my own terms and yet offered help along my journey.
Favorite place to spend time at MBU?
The Perk. There is always some one that I know who I can talk to.
Favorite thing to do on a Thursday night?
Sit in my room with my best friend and roommate and watch a good chick flick :)
What’s a typical weekend like for you?
A typical weekend for me normally includes doing laundry, sleeping in, taking trips with Student Activities, and going home to see my family.
Who is my hero? Why?
My hero is definitely my mom. She has taught me so much throughout my life and always has been there for me.
Describe your welcome weekend experience.
My first welcome weekend was AWESOME! There was always something to do or an event to attend. My family and myself felt very welcomed at MBU and all of the volunteers were very nice. My favorite thing, however, was cosmic bowling. We all had so much fun and got to know each other.
Where do you live?
In the dorms with my roommate.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A teacher.
What’s an interesting fact about you?
I love peanut butter cups!!
