Why did you choose MBU?
When I received the handbook of MBU from the other side of the world, I knew I was going to leave my hometown for this school to pursue my study and gain a different experience. The entire environment attracted me.

What has, to date, been your favorite MBU event?
The Perk. Think about the music, food and fellowship!

What defines you?
I am friendly and warm-hearted. I am a big food lover and also a daydreamer. I dream of eating a lot but never getting fat.

What is your favorite spot in St. Louis?
Creve Coeur Lake.

How has MBU allowed you to experience your faith?
MBU has been giving me a lot which I have never experienced in my life before. It has given me the chance to see and feel my faith.

What’s your favorite place to spend time at MBU?
The Perk

Favorite thing to do on a Thursday night?
I’m all about relaxing. Maybe shopping a little bit. Staying up late reading or surfing the Internet since I don’t have class on Fridays.

What’s a typical weekend life for you?
Waking up late on Saturdays, doing some homework, and then going to work at the Perk if I am scheduled. On Sundays, I go to church at 9:30 a.m. and then go back home at 2 p.m. If I am not scheduled to work at the Perk, I hang out with my friends after church and study in the evening.

Who is your hero? Why?
My hero is Jackie Chan, because he never uses a stunt double in his action movies. He accomplishes every single action by himself. Facing countless fatal injuries, he never gives up!

Describe your Welcome Weekend experience.
It was in 2006. I had been in the U.S. for only a month at that time, but I felt warmly welcomed by MBU. I remember taking the school bus to somewhere to help clean up the yard. It was fun and meaningful.

Where do you live (with roommates, parents, apartment, etc)?
With my aunt and uncle.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A professional food taster.

What’s an interesting fact about you?
I eat something for its nutritional ingredients even though it’s not tasty at all. I am known as a nutrition watcher.
