I wanted an environment that would foster solid Christian friendships. And, the music department is awesome!

Anywhere with my friends.
How has MBU allowed you to experience your faith?
Little things like meeting with others to pray before my 8 a.m. classes. Talking to friends freely throughout the day about how God is working in our lives.
Favorite place to spend time at MBU?
The Perk, by the fireplace!
Favorite thing to do on a Thursday night?
Practice with the MBU acoustic ministry group.
What’s a typical weekend like for you?
Hanging out with friends, church worship team practice at 7a.m. on Saturdays, some homework, a nice long run and babysitting.
Who is your hero? Why?
Amy Carmichael, Jim Elliot, and Nehemiah. Because of their total surrender to and dependence on God.
Describe your Welcome Weekend experience.
AWESOME! I loved it. The people I randomly sat down with at breakfast Saturday morning are still some of my closest friends.
Where do you live (with roommates, parents, apartment, etc)?
With my parents and four little brothers.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
A missionary. Engineering water systems for rural impoverished communities and planting churches.
What's an interesting fact about you?
I box. My trainer is Monica Adams from Fox 2.
