Hundreds packed the Muncy Gymnasium last January for a fierce match up between MBU’s Spartan Basketball Team and Columbia College. On a cold, fall-like Thursday night in October, Spartan fans filled the stands as the MBU Men’s Soccer Team fought for the American Midwest Conference. MBU students screamed with pride as they watched Nickesha Anderson become the first person in NAIA history to win five national competitions in one meet.
You see, at MBU sporting events aren’t the topic of interest for a few. They’re a time when our spirited student body united to push our athletes to the next level.
It’s working.
