International Student Admissions Requirements

Below are the requirements for international students who wish to attend Missouri Baptist University:

• Students who wish to come to the U.S. on the F-1 student visa may only apply to attend the main Missouri Baptist University campus.
• Transcripts must be sent to World Education Services for a course-by-course evaluation to determine credit and grade transfers.
• Official transcripts must be sent from each school, college or university the student has attended. If possible,these should include grade point average and class rank.
• First-time Freshmen must have the equivalent of a United States high school diploma.
• Graduate applicants must have the equivalent of a U.S. Bachelor’s Degree.

Insurance Requirements

We do require all international students in F-1 or J-1 status to have health insurance, and we automatically enroll students in the university’s plan. If you are already covered by a plan from your home country, we will need a completed insurance waiver request form along with a copy of the policy and insurance card by the end of the first week of classes in order to consider a waiver. The policy will be sent to our insurance company for evaluation, and if it meets our minimum requirements, we may waive all of part of the school’s policy requirement.
