Each summer, the EXCEL program holds two sessions for new instructors to receive discipline-specific training for their upcoming course. Each session provides an administrative orientation, and is led by MBU faculty.
Additionally, MBU provides a half-day of discipline-specific sessions for new and veteran teachers. These sessions are led by MBU faculty, who offer updates on courses and explore new research and labs in the discipline. After lunch, the director brings administrative news and instructions to the entire gathering.
