EBSCO Academic Search Elite:

Offers full text for more than 2,000 serials, including more than 1,500 peer-reviewed titles. This multi-disciplinary database covers virtually every area of academic study. More than 100 journals have PDF images back to 1985.

EBSCO Animals:

Provides in-depth information on a variety of topics relating to animals. The database consists of indexing, abstracts, and full text records describing the nature and habitat of familiar animals.

  • To access this database: After selecting EBSCOhost Web, on the "Choose Databases Screen," scroll down and click on EBSCO Animals. You may also wish to uncheck the box next to Academic Search Elite to narrow your search.

EBSCO Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia:

This database provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas.

  • To access this database: After selecting EBSCOhost Web, on the "Choose Databases Screen," scroll down and click on Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia. You may also wish to uncheck the box next to Academic Search Elite to narrow your search.

HW Wilson Applied Science Full-Text:

This database features full text, graphs, charts, diagrams, photos, and illustrations that convey an abundance of data in scientific and technical articles. Subjects covered include: Applied Mathematics, Chemistry, Geology, Oceanography, and Physics.

  • To access this database: Click on the link above and then in the "Database Selection Area" check the box next to Applied Science Full-Text.

Infotrac:

Contains citations and partial full-text information for more than 3,500 indexed and full-text titles in all disciplines.

SIRS Knowledge Source:

A general reference full-text article database in social, scientific, historic, economic, political and global issues and more. SIRS Knowledge Source indexes over 1,500 publications and over 100 colorful maps.

STN / Chemical Abstracts:

Covers international journals, patents, technical reports, books, conferences, procedures and more from all areas of chemistry and bio-chemistry from 1947 to the present. Access limited to certain hours of availability from MBU campuses only.
