Vienna

Located near the banks of the beautiful Danube and just a few blocks from the United Nations, Webster University Vienna features a US-American education in an active central European environment. Generations of artists, students and connoisseurs of life have sought out Vienna for its inspirational art and architecture, parks and palaces, music and opera, and of course, Kaffehaueser (coffee houses).

As a European crossroads, Vienna's proximity to Eastern Europe attracts a richly multinational population, which is reflected in Webster University's student body. While 60 nationalities are represented, the two largest national groups are Austrian and American, followed closely by students from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, and others. The presence of multinational banks, businesses, and the United Nations all contribute to the diversity of this cultural city. As with all Webster locations, Americans studying abroad at our Vienna campus join a thriving and active international student community.

Webster-Vienna’s internship programs introduce students to practical experience in the working world by executing special projects for national and multinational companies and organizations. Students wishing to pursue and internship abroad are required to study abroad for a minimum of one semester, although an academic year abroad is strongly encouraged.

All credit hours earned will be accepted, according to current catalog, for those students seeking degrees at MBU.
