Health Education is transitioning from 9-12 to K-12 in 2015-2016 due to changes in DESE certification requirements.

Students who can complete all program requirements for certification – including passing MoGEA, their professional development folio, MCA, and MoPTA – by the end of summer 2017 will be allowed to finish their programs under the current compendium requirements (9-12), designated in the 2014-2015 undergraduate catalog and degree plan worksheets for transfer students. However, first-time freshmen entering beginning in FA-14, as well as transfer or readmit students who are not able to complete all program requirements by the end of SU-17, will need to meet the new certification rules (K-12). New course requirements are outlined in the 2014-2015 undergraduate catalog and degree plan worksheets for first-time freshmen.
