Part-time Office Assistant

The Office of Career Services is accepting applications for a Part-time Office Assistant.

This position reports directly to the Associate Dean of Students, Director of Career Services and works cooperatively with the Employment and Office Coordinator and the Program Support Assistant to plan, organize and implement services, activities and programs.


Gathers and organizes employment postings and other forms of information  received through the Career Services Office; maintains all information boards; coordinates student internships; researches and gathers resources for internship guides; develops office news publications and materials to advertise job opportunities and other pertinent information; assists Employment and Office Coordinator with outcome survey distribution and tracking.

Position Requirements

Candidate must possess a commitment to Christianity with the ability to communicate, interact and work collaboratively with employers, students, alumni, university staff, academic departments and outside organizations. Must possess good written and oral communication skills and exhibit solid administrative and organizational skills.

Computer literate with knowledge of database management, word processing, desktop publishing, internet based applications, Microsoft Office and presentation software.

Must possess human relations and project management skills with the ability to handle a variety of projects, meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.

Bachelors Degree preferred and experience working in a University office setting.
